The Powergen Calendar is one of the most prestigious projects for creative design and photography. The aim is photographic excellence - to create a series of superb images which transcend the boundaries of audience appeal.
We were approached by Powergen to provide a unique design for the calendar pages, including concepts and art direction for the twelve images. The theme was 'Light & Energy', and their effects in the world. A series of imaginative visuals, using quotations were submitted to Powergen. Each image you see here is based closely on those original concepts first presented.
Internationally acclaimed photographer, John Claridge, was commissioned to bring his unique approach to the project. The final images resulted in the 'National Calendar Award' being presented for Best Calendar of the Year, an outstanding achievement for all concerned.
